Refund & Returns

Thirty days. Tracked returns. Refunds to the original payment method. The fine print below — but the headline is: if we got it wrong, we make it right.

Return window

You can return eligible items within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition you received them.

Non-returnable items

  • Downloadable products (eBooks, audiobooks, digital extras)
  • Gift cards
  • Student-discount purchases (final sale)
  • Slightly-imperfect or clearance stock marked non-returnable

Starting a return

  1. Email info@irvingbooks.com with your order number and the items you'd like to return.
  2. We'll send return instructions and a return address.
  3. Ship the items back using a tracked service. Customers typically pay return postage unless the error was ours.
  4. Once we inspect the return, we'll refund to your original payment method. Bank processing usually takes several business days.

Damaged or defective items

If your parcel arrives damaged or the book is defective, email info@irvingbooks.com with your order number and clear photos of the damage. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lost or missing parcels

If tracking shows no movement for 14 days (domestic) or 30 days (international), contact us. We'll open a carrier investigation and re-ship or refund once resolved.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. To exchange an undamaged item for a different title, return the original under the process above and place a new order.

Customs duties

Refunds do not include customs duties paid to your local authorities on the original shipment. These are set and collected by your government, not by us.
